Tanya Wiggins, Director of High Expectations (Middle School)

A Brooklyn native and product of the New York City public school system, Ms. Wiggins is a graduate of Swarthmore College where she majored in English and Education, and of Temple University where she received her Master of Education degree in Urban Education. In addition to her experience as a classroom teacher, she previously served as Director of Education at Groundwork in Brooklyn and Director of School Programs at Future Kids NYC. Ms. Wiggins is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., a 1995 recipient of a Rockefeller Brothers Fund Fellowship, and a graduate of the Institute for Not-for-Profit Management’s Emerging Leader Development Program at Columbia Business School.
